Calculus Meets Coding
Overview
This module teaches you calculus through coding in R. You do not need to know pre-calculus to join it.
You will learn about derivatives, antiderivatives (integrals), limits, etc. Instead of focusing on proofs and mathematical rigor, we try to show you the conceptual reasoning behind these techniques.
You will also see applications of calculus in physics, optimization and finding roots of polynomials.
Skills You Acquire
- You wil learn the main tools of calculus (derivatives, integrals, limits).
- You will learn about the history of developments.
- You will see how calculus is applied in physics and other places.
- This module does not require knowing precalculus.
